For over 20 years RockStep has been providing retail properties with management, accounting, leasing, and redevelopment/new tenant construction services for both owned and third-party ownership entities. Regardless of the investment structure, RockStep is also responsible for property and financial reporting to its investors and other interested parties. For each of these specialized fields, RockStep has a senior executive team member that brings over 25 years of retail real estate, CMBS Risk and lending and capital markets experience.

In today’s world, many retail shopping centers have been hard hit by E-Commerce competition and Covid retailer fallout. This has created an opportunity for traditional retail centers to rethink their position in the market, to become more efficient in operations, and to diversify into multi-use facilities that do not depend wholly on retail as a means of success. RockStep Capital is an expert at not only managing and leasing retail space in an extremely cost-efficient manner, but also at repositioning retail properties into multi-use “communities” that provide retail, e-Commerce fulfillment and distribution, multifamily, education, office, medical-office, education, entertainment, education and other alternative uses.
