Retailing is in our DNA
Long before RockStep’s doors opened, our story was being shaped by the world of retail.
RockStep founder and President Andy Weiner grew up surrounded by the joys and nuances of retail. His grandfather, Isadore Weiner, launched his own value-price family clothing store, where Andy worked folding clothes from a young age. He then helped grow the business to 159 stores.
RockStep Beginnings
Fast forward to 1997: the launch of RockStep Capital. Driven by a mission to create community-centric destinations for people to cherish for generations to come (and provide promising returns for our investors while doing it), we strive to boost the retail and entertainment industry through the innovative redevelopment of commercial real estate.
