This past quarter, we’re proud to say we accomplished our goal. Our properties saw several successful openings, from clothing retail stores to luxury goods boutiques. As we close out 2022, we’re celebrating these openings that are helping revitalize the malls we own and add distinctive shopping experiences to the communities we serve.
Marshalls at Uptown Aberdeen in Aberdeen, S.D., experienced tremendous success after its grand opening on Oct. 30 of this year. Marshalls, a retail chain that offers brand-name clothes, accessories, shoes, home decor and houseware, opened with strong sales revenues, exceeding the expectation of store managers. Sales haven’t slowed since, and visitors have commented that the 21,166 square-foot store feels like “big-city shopping.”
We also oversaw the introduction of Karl Lagerfeld Paris, a luxury fashion outlet, at the Riverwalk Outlets in New Orleans, La. The Riverwalk Outlet sits directly off the Mississippi River near downtown New Orleans. The property is undergoing revitalization to offer residents and tourists alike a unique customer experience, and luxury outlets like Karl Lagerfeld Paris are helping get the Outlets there faster.
